Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. green cabbage, shredded
  • 3 T. malt vinegar
  • 2/3 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 2 medium carrots, grated
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. coarse black pepper

Directions

Toss shredded cabbage in vinegar and salt. Grate carrots and onion directly into cabbage. Add mayonnaise, sugar and black pepper. Mix well.
