Asparagus Sticks PDF Print

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh asparagus
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
  • Dash of white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. onion salt
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 c. butter

Directions

Combine water, onion salt, white pepper and beaten egg. Dip asparagus spears in egg mixture; coat well. Roll asparagus spears in crumbs and brown in melted butter for about 10-15 minutes in a frying pan on medium heat. Turn occasionally.
