Poulsbo Farmers Market Unveils 2007 Season Poster
Featuring Poulsbo Mayor Kathryn Quade’s Artwork
Poulsbo, WA. – April
5, 2007 – The Poulsbo Farmers
Market today announced that its 2007 season poster features artwork by
accomplished artist and Mayor of Poulsbo Kathryn Quade. Mayor Quade’s artwork for the poster
features an abstract sunflower in warm, pastel hues that reflect the beauty of
the region, the passion of the market’s vendors and the commitment of the
market to bringing the best of “fresh” and “local” to the community.
“I so much
enjoyed working on this poster,” said Kathryn Quade, Mayor of Poulsbo. “Our Poulsbo Farmers Market
significantly adds to the quality of life in our wonderful community. Being able to enjoy the benefits of
fresh local products, knowing where it’s coming from, and the camaraderie of
Market day make for a special outing on Saturday mornings. I gleefully await opening day April 14.”
The posters will be distributed to local businesses and organizations, and available for sale to the public at the Poulsbo Farmers Market, which operates from 9 am to 1 pm every Saturday from April 14 to October 13, 2007 at 7th and Iverson in the
