The Poulsbo Farmers Market wouldn't be possible without the hard work and dedication of our Market Manager, the Board of Directors, and other volunteers.

Market Manager – Jackie Aitchison

Jackie Aitchison became involved with the Poulsbo Farmers Market after serving 12 years as a City of Poulsbo Council Member. She has served as Market Manager since the market began in 2004.

Knowing where her food comes from and being able to purchase the freshest produce in town is very important to Jackie. She believes that the economic value and the open space conservation that our local farms bring to consumers is critical to sustaining and building our community; the Poulsbo Farmers Market is a great venue for this interaction. In her role as a Market Manager, Jackie is able to support the continued viability of our local farms.

Jackie is also involved with the WSU Mastergardener program, represents the North Kitsap Community on the Kitsap Regional Library Board of Trustees, and she is also the Director of the Bainbridge Island/North Kitsap YWCA office.
