In its 7th year, the Poulsbo Farmers Market continues to grow bigger and better, showcasing the local community at its best. In 2010, the Market remains in the same location, but with a new and larger footprint that will support over fifty vendors, offering Washington-based produce, plants, flowers, baked goods, prepared foods, artisan products and much, much more! From our passionate farmers and creative artisans, to our local food businesses and unique product vendors, the heart of the Market entices all.

Join us Saturday, April 10th, as we celebrate Opening Day and kick off the 2010 Market season in style!

Meet Poulsbo Mayor, Becky Erickson, who will be cutting the Opening Day ribbon. Listen to, "Planted", a local, grunge-country-rock-Scandinavian band, who will take the stage at 9am with their own rendition of Jimmy Hendrix's "National Anthem". Visit your favorite returning vendors and help us welcome new vendors featuring gluten free products, goat cheese, lamb and our very own coffee barista!

Smell and taste scrumptious bites, admire beautiful handmade clothing and accessories, find that perfect plant for your garden, or purchase fresh eggs and produce for your next meal. Opening Day promises something for everyone!

In 2010 we debut an exciting new program, "Market U", that will take place at 10am and Noon every first and third Saturday. Designed to inspire you to eat seasonally, it will help you to learn more about cooking, growing and eating local fruits and vegetables. It will also introduce you to some of the talented and generous people who provide healthy food and garden products every day, for you, right here as a thriving part of our local economy. Free to all; Market U is a must for your weekend plans.

2010 also boasts a fantastic Music Line-up and an impressive calendar of Special Events. Click on "Music at the Market" and "Events" in the left-hand margin to view the must-see band and event for each week. A perfect venue for your family and friends, come and absorb the rich, fun-loving Market atmosphere.
